Running event part of 2018 AAA Renaissance Cebuana
THE first “Search for 2018 AAA Renaissance Cebuana,” which aims to empower women in Cebu, will have a running event as part of its series of competitions on June 9 starting at the Cebu Provincial Capitol grounds.
The Search for 2018 AAA Renaissance Cebuana is a project of the Province of Cebu in cooperation with the Cebu Provincial Women’s Commission and the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The event is aiming to promote the rights of women and also to highlight women empowerment in the Province of Cebu. It also aims to showcase women’s strength, grace, and intelligence in different competitive activities in this event.
The event has three competitions, which has an acronym of AAA. The first is the “Athletic” which is the running event that will feature a 10-kilometer and 5k distances, the second is “Academic” that will be the Cebuana Quiz Bee on June 23 at the Cebu Trade Hall in SM City Cebu held in line with the Cebu Business Month 2018 and the “Artistic” competition which is the finale of the three events on August 31 that will be dubbed as the “Cebuana Got It All” at the Cebu Provincial Capitol Social Hall.
