Netizens were aghast over reports that three women were arrested on Thursday, June 14, for sneaking into the Cebu City Jail packets of drugs that they hid inside their private parts.
John Edwards Castillon wrote, “Pakantaha na kun asa na g(i)kan og k(i)nsa gasugo o tag-iya anang shabu para mad(a)kp(a)n na.”
(Let them [the suspects] reveal the source of the illegal drugs so that they will be arrested.)
Junne Palacio Abejuela was mortified, “Does any woman in her right mind would insert in her private parts illegal drugs — and not a small amount, take note. That is so audacious of these women doing obscene actions maligning a supposed part of the temple of the holy spirit.”
