Davide pleads for Magpale to reconsider retirement from politics

Wanting to bolster his bid for reelection, Cebu Gov. Hilario Davide III continues to ask Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale to reconsider her decision to retire from politics.

Davide said she badly needs Magpale as runningmate.

In previous interviews, the vice governor has reiterated her decision to retire from politics.

The governor, however, expressed earlier the possibility of having Cebu Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Office head Ivy Durano-Meca as his runningmate.
