Barug Team Rama threatens to sue City on Kawit Island deal
Members of the opposition group United Barug Team Rama has threatened to file a complaint against Mayor Tomas Osmeña if he will sign the joint venture agreement (JVA) involving the P18-billion Kawit Island development project.
The signing of the agreement is scheduled on Friday (August 17).
Osmeña has invited the family of the late Jojo dela Victoria to attend the signing of the agreement.
Councilor Raymond Alvin Garcia, however, said they will continue to fight to prevent the implementation of the ‘disadvantageous’ deal.
On the other hand, Former Mayor Mike Rama expressed that he is proud of what opposition councilors have been doing at the City Council.
