Actor Richard Yap’s statement that he is considering to run as a congressional candidate in Cebu City’s north district drew mixed reactions online.
One Facebook user, Sonny Go, said, “Sir chief for me stick to acting, ayaw ug apil apil politics esp in cebu coz its so dirty and if your gonna challenge an incumbent with a better track record ayaw na lang you’ll be wasting your time, effort and money.”
While Rhum Alda Tabasa said, “Sos dagan usa ug brgy oi taas ra ka kaau ug ambition.”
The video post on Yap’s plans to run for elective office garnered more than 3,000 views in a span of 3 hours.
