Montenegro takes over top of CDU ranking tiff
LOCAL darter Steve Montenegro climbed one step higher to top the second week of the 1st Cebu Darters United (CDU) Ranking Tournament.
Montenegro earned seven and 10 points by placing third and first during the Open Singles and Classified Singles, respectively.
He now has a total of 25 points including the eight points that he earned on the first week of the tournament.
The Open Singles happened last October 26 while the Classified Singles took place last October 27 at the Yayoy’s Grill & Restobar in Capitol Site, Cebu City.
First week leader Arvic Recaña fell to second place with his 22 points while Delai Baltunado accumulated 21 points to remain at the third spot.
Odong Pamatian (20) and Dino Bacayo (20) were at fourth and fifth, respectively.
Wyno Ugang leaped 13 spots higher to secure the sixth place after garnering 18 points.
Molet Patunob (15), CDU president Ramon Alcoseba (13), Kim Aguinaldo (12) and Roy Laude (9) manned the seventh to 10th place, respectively.
