THE grueling bar examinations – which take place on four consecutive Sundays – ends on November 25 for the more than 8,000 aspirants.
Out of the 8,701 approved petitions by the Office of the Bar Confidant to take the examinations, only 8,156 managed to complete the first three Sundays of the exams.
According to the record, 543 aspirants missed the first Sunday of the exams, making the total of 8,158 examinees for the first day.
The first day focused on Political Law, International Law, Labor Law, and Social Legislation.
For the second and third Sundays, two examinees missed the exams, lowering the number of examinees to 8,156.
The second day of the exams focused on Civil Law and Taxation Law, and the third day focused on Mercantile Law and Criminal Law.
The Office of the Bar Confident also recorded the same number of examinees taking for the last day.
On Sunday afternoon, supporters and relatives of bar takers flocked around the University of Santo Tomas campus, the venue of the exams, for the “salubong.”
