Lite Ferries set to launch today newest vessel for Cebu-Ormoc route

CEBU CITY, Philippines–Lite Ferries is set to launch today, March 25, another roll-on roll-off passenger vessel.

Expected to grace the ceremonial ribbon cutting are Lucio Lim Jr., Lite Ferries president chief executive officer; chief operations officer Fernando Inting and other company executives.

Built in 2002, M/V Lite Ferry 19 is the youngest and fastest ferry plying the Cebu-Ormoc route.

The vessel will ply from Cebu City to Ormoc City at 11 am daily and from Ormoc to Cebu City at 11 pm.

Sen. Vicente Sotto III, Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III and other government officials will also attend the ceremony./dcb
