Wolves, Sharks log wins in Elite hoops Cebu

Cebu City Philippines—The Wolves and the Sharks kept in step with the league leaders after they disposed of their respective opponents in the Elite Basketball Club Cebu City-Season 14 on Friday, March 29, 2019, at the Visayan Glass Gym in Guadalupe.

The Wolves came all the way back from a 13-point deficit in the fourth period to stun the Hawks, 99-96. Reymond Micaral donned the hero’s cape for the Wolves as he shot in a jumper with four seconds left that gave his team the win.

The three-headed monster of Lester Lucero, Angelo Delcampo and Merbien Dedace scored at least 20 points for the Wolves. Lucero led the way with 26 points, Delcampo had 25 while Dedace pitched in 20.

In the evening’s other game, the Sharks ripped the Rams apart, 76-70. Jude Bulan led the way for the Sharks with 16 points while Ian Ortega added 13.

The Wolves and the Sharks now have identical 3-2 win-loss cards.
