Cebuanos join Earth Hour celebration
LOOK: Cebuanos expressed their love for the environment by participating in tonight’s switch off which is the highlight of the annual Earth Hour celebration.
At the SM City Mall, lights went off at exactly 8:30 p.m. People who crowded the mall’s north wing parking area were asked to also make their pledge of commitment to saving Mother Earth by leaving their neon colored hand prints on a blackboard.
At the Sugbu Mercado in Mandaue City, costumers shared a candlelit dinner as the lights were switched off for an hour.
