CEBU CITY,  Philippines — The Cebu City Sharks will be looking to bolster their current roster with some new players and will be holding tryouts on Monday and Tuesday, April 1 and 2, at 12 noon at the Capitol Parish Gym.

The Sharks are trying to build on their debut season in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League where they made it to the quarterfinals but got swept by the mighty Davao Occidental Tigers.

Still, the season was a remarkable one for Cebu City, which started off slow but gathered momentum right after the roster was shook up in 2019.

The Sharks are in dire need of help for their lone All Star, Patrick Jan Cabahug, who missed the playoffs because of a sprained ankle./elb
