Cebu City, Philippines—Next week marks the Holy Week and people will start flocking churches and pilgrimage areas to pray and reflect.

This year a new kind of stations of the cross offer a more reflective and interactive experience.

Bradford United Church of Christ, Inc., shares to the public their Walkthru: Reflection of Jesus’ Way of the Cross.

This is a modern and more interactive take on the centuries-old Catholic tradition of going through the 14 Stations of the Cross located at The Terraces, Ayala Center Cebu.

In each station, visitors are invited to read, reflect and respond.

For four years Bradford United Church of Christ, Inc., a Christian church, has been doing the Walkthru within their church, but this year, they wanted to share to the public the artistic installations done by their volunteers on some of the stations and to give the people a new kind of experience while doing the stations of the cross.

Krisha Ablaza, ministry coordinator of Bradford United Church of Christ, Inc., told CDN Digital that some of their stations like the stations 7 to 9, people would get the chance to touch the replicas of the whips, and the crown of thorns that were made by their volunteers and to even carry the cross just like what Jesus did.

The Walkthru will be open to the public starting today, April 13 until April 17 and will resume on April 20 and 21 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. /dbs
