Holy Week is a time for silence, fasting and prayer. It is also an opportunity to reflect, take a break from the fast-paced life, and shift one’s focus towards faith and family.
Ayala Center Cebu, the region’s premier lifestyle destination, has lined up the following activities for mall-goers in this season of reflection and prayer:
Walkthru on April 13-17 and 20-21
Reflect on Jesus’ journey to Calvary in silence and prayer. Spend time with the Lord via the interactive Way of the Cross between 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at The Terraces.
Hop, Hop, and Away on April 21
Kids will enjoy egg-citing Easter-themed activities around the mall, such as arts and crafts, photobooths, an Easter egg hunt, as well as take home souvenirs.
To get an activity pass, present a minimum single receipt purchase worth P500 at the Concierge near Vero Moda. Purchases must be made between April 1 to 21, 2019 from any food merchants in Ayala Center Cebu. A total of 100 tickets will be given away every two hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The first 10 AMORE card Members, 10 ARC-card Members and 25 KIDDO Club members to present their membership cards at the Concierge may also get one activity pass. Each pass can accommodate one child and one adult companion.
Holy Week Mall Schedule
The mall will be closed on April 18, Maundy Thursday and April 19, Good Friday. Regular mall operations will resume on April 20, Black Saturday.
Easter Sunday Masses will be celebrated at the Mall Chapel near Beauty & Butter on April 21 at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
