USPF-led Central Visayas volleyball team on a roll in Palarong Pambansa

Cebu City, Philippines—The University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF)-led Central Visayas girls volleyball squad will be heading into the quarterfinal round of the ongoing Palarong Pambansa in Davao City on a roll. 

This after the Yolly Rizarri-coached Central Visayas team defeated Region 2 Cagayan Valley, 26-24, 25-16, Wednesday, May 1, 2019, to finish at the top of their bracket. 

They will face Davao on Thursday, May 2, 2019, with the hopes of improving their performance last year and advancing to the semifinal round.

The team is manned by Liane Miñoza, Tracy Cortes, Ressel Pedroza, Gloria mates, Pierre Angeli Abellana, Angeli Mariel Bacalso, Mitzi Panangin, Ma. Adrianne Silva, Vanessa Miñoza and Kirsten Chanel Petancio.

Assisting Rizarri in helming the team is Marvin Jordan Cabriana. /bmjo
