NBI agents Reynan Oliva and Jose Ermie Monsanto filed the case before the Cebu Prosecutors’ Office, 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Tomorrow the agents will also file separate complaint before the Ombudsman Visayas against the respondents for using an impounded vehicle. Aside from that they are set to file preventive suspension against the police officials of the Highway Patrol Group.

It took the NBI more than three weeks after they found an impounded red Toyota Vios car, believed to be one of the cars used in the ambush in Dalaguete town. The car was found in the car pound of the HPG-7.

The brother of the killed lawyer, Nelson Archival who accompanied the agents said the filing of the case is their first step in their search for justice.
