Bacolod pair bags 18-U boys’ doubles title in PSC-Philta net

BACOLOD City’s Fernando Arguelles and Raymark Marcellana easily won the 18-under boys’ title in the doubles division of the 3rd leg of the Philippine Sports Commission-Philippine Lawn Tennis Association Visayas Junior Tennis Championships after scoring a walkover win over Enrico Gonzaga and Adrian Javier yesterday at the Montevista Tennis Association’s tennis courts in Bacolod City.

Shyryn Salazar and Tonyrose Raymundo, meanwhile, logged an 8-1 victory over Rushlyn Clelo and Keanu Flores to snare the 18-Under girls’ doubles crown.

In the 10-Under Unisex doubles, going home with the title is the tandem of Fernando Alekzander Po and Pete Andre Rodriguez, who bested Joseph De Asis and Joshua Raymundo, 8-3, in the finals.

In the 14-Under boys’ doubles, Karl Baran/Reynan Mahusay team defeated Adrian De Hertogh and Cesar Fernando Po in the finals, 8-4. Kiana De Asis and Shyryn Salazar lorded the 14-Under girls’ division.
