Retrofit job on Maguikay flyover starts Monday night

By: Norman V. Mendoza May 24,2014 - 06:45 PM

The roads below the Maguikay flyover in Mandaue City will be closed to traffic late evening Monday (May 26) until dawn (Tuesday) as retrofitting work will be done on the flyover.

Motorists however can still use the flyover.

The roads below the flyover will be closed starting from 9 p.m. Monday until 5 a.m. Tuesday  when workers of PLD Construction, the contractor for the project, will start retrofitting work.

The projects was supposed to have been done last March but it was moved to a later date so as not to add to the expected heavy traffic to be caused by rehabilitation of the roads leading to the northern part of Cebu, and the drainage improvement of the ML Quezon St. in barangay Maguikay.
