A MAN who was allegedly shot in the leg by a lawyer flagged down a tricycle and asked that he be taken to a hospital Thursday afternoon.
The suspect, Amiel Joaquin Manubag, 33, surrendered to the police following the shooting incident in barangay Lourdes Poblacion, Bogo City in northern Cebu.
Police said the lawyer and the victim, Mark Catarata, used to be friends. Supt. German Mallari, chief of the Bogo City Police Office, said the lawyer had warned the victim not to show up in his office.
Mallari said the lawyer told him that he started packing a gun as he was aware that the victim always carries a gun. Manubag said he shot the victim the moment he saw him come into his office.
A wounded Catarata left the office and rode a tricycle that brought him to a hospital./CORR
