Drowning victim found in Carmen

An unidentified man about 17 years old was found dead near the shoreline of barangay Puente, Carmen, northern Cebu last Thursday.

PO1 Ronald Anoche said that the victim was seen swimming in the public beach before he was found lifeless.

Police said the body had no wounds.

An autopsy will help determine if foul play was involved.

A child who passed by the area had found the victim´s body.

Police did not retrieve any item belonging to the victim, who had no shirt on and was wearing a blue pair of pants.
