Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman Ricardo R. Garcia formally made the turnover of the half-a-million worth of gymnastics equipment donated by the PSC to the Cebu City Sports Commission last Saturday during the 7th Dancesports Sa Sugbu competition at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Lahug.

Garcia made the ceremonial turnover to CCSC chairman Edward Hayco and to the representatives of the two schools who received the donated equipment, Zapatera Elementary School and the Don Carlos Gothong Memorial National High School.

Hayco requested the items from PSC chairman Richie Garcia, who also promised to send another set of donation, this time for boxing.

Hayco said he asked Garcia any sporting equipment the PSC can spare during the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC)-Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Philippine National Games 2014 in Manila, where he spearheaded Team Cebu City’s campaign.
