A 38-year-old man in Consolacion town, northern Cebu had long been suspecting his wife was having an affair.
On Sunday dawn, he caught his wife sleeping with another man in a rented house.
Accompanied by operatives of the Consolacion Police Station, the husband barged into the house and found the two sleeping in the living room.
The woman and her alleged paramour were arrested but were eventually released without charges filed.
Police said the man decided not to file a case after he and his wife decided to part ways and give him custody of their three children.
Police said the man had been monitoring his wife’s whereabouts for some time.
