Jeepney driver gunned down
A JEEPNEY driver was shot and killed by a still-unidentified gunman in barangay Mabolo, Cebu City.
Roel Nerosa, 32, of Sibonga town, was hit in the chest while he was walking along Juan Luna Ave. past midnight yesterday.
Motorcycle for hire driver Patricio Bonghanoy, 43, was hit in the left leg by a stray bullet.
The shooting happened near a burger stand where Bonghanoy was waiting for a passenger.
SPO1 Rommel Bancog said a background check on the victim will be conducted to determine the motive of the killing.
