It is no secret that Heart Evangelista has a soft spot for animals and does not mind spending a lot for her pets. This becomes evident with her recent “pasalubong” for her aspin (asong Pinoy) Panda.
The actress gave Panda a blue-and-red cotton shirt with a strawberry design from Gucci as a gift from her recent trip to Paris, as seen on Panda’s official Instagram page last Sunday, Jan. 8. Based on the brand’s website, the said pet clothing is worth $250 (around P13,733).
Evangelista also gave Panda a geometric waste bag holder worth $460 (P25,269), also from the Italian luxury brand, and a new tag from the French store Le Bon Marché.
“Paris to Japan! [Home muna] and she got pasalubong!…” the page stated. “Mukhang ‘di na stress si mum! Dami pasabog salve.” (Paris to Japan! Home for now and she got gifts! It looks like mum is no longer stressed. She has many treats.)
Evangelista, a vocal advocate of animal welfare and adoption, rescued and adopted Panda from Batangas. She is also a fur parent to many more pets including the dogs Shutiful, Yogi, Casper, Khaleesi and Chico, as well as cats Mingming, Chuni and Mina.
