Sinulog World Tent City to be launched on January 12

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Organizers of the One Cebu Island Sinulog 2023 are set to launch the World Tent City at the South Road Properties (SRP) on Thursday, January 12, 2023.
Stephanie Rose Villarica, Sinulog Foundation Inc. Marketing, and Promotions head, in a press conference on Tuesday, January 11, said the location of the World Tent City is right beside the UP Professional School, right across the Sinulog Grandstand.
“The concept of the tent city is really to bring the different hotel partners in the city to make an area where spectators can relax and enjoy the festivities,” she said.
As of Wednesday, she said, hotel brands, malls, and other exhibitors are already setting up their areas.
More than 30 exhibitors are expected to join in this year’s Sinulog Tent City. /rcg
