Cebu doctors now in Leyte

Doctors and nurses from Cebu, who were tapped to attend to the medical needs of Pope Francis and members of his entourage as well as VIPs in case they need one, have arrived in Leyte.

A 74-man medical team, which included specialists, from the Perpetual Succor Hospital  were assigned to the Pope and will be put in charge of a mobile hospital that will be set up at the Daniel Romualdez Airport in Tacloban City.

Teams from Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, Divine Word University Hospital and the Our Lady of Mercy Hospital will also be on hand.
