In yesterday’s Provincial Board (PB) out-of-town session held in Bogo City, Dr. Zoraida Yurango, acting chief of the Cebu Provincial Hospital, said they need eight doctors and 12 nurses to complement their staff of seven doctors and 25 nurses.
She also said they need more electrocardiogram (ECG) machines, defibrillators and hospital beds.
The Cebu Provincial Hospital has 50 beds but they are serving more than 100 patients.
Dr. Cynthia Genosolango, acting Provincial Health Office chief, said they will hire more doctors for the hospital.
