Tallo spearheads Manila Chooks in Chooks-to-Go FIBA 3×3 World Tour Cebu Masters
CEBU CITY, Philippines — The Philippines’ top 3×3 player Mac Tallo will spearhead the Manila Chooks in the upcoming Chooks-to-Go FIBA 3×3 World Tour Cebu Masters on September 23 and 24, 2023 that will be held at the SM Seaside City Cebu.
The Cebuano crafty guard, who is ranked 189th in the FIBA 3×3 global rankings, will team up with former University of Cebu (UC) Webmaster bigman Tosh Sesay along with Americans Marcus Hammonds and Marquez Ellis Lecher.
Manila Chooks’ official line-up was revealed by team manager Jerry Abuyabor to CDN Digital.

According to Abuyabor, they finalized the official line-up for Manila Chooks late this week after a thorough meeting with the team.
“With Mac and Tosh playing, daku ug chance nga madaug nato ang games. With Mac’s skills and experience, salig ta basta moduwa lang siya sa iyahang duwa during the tournament. We’re going to win!” said Abuyabor.
Tallo will get the much-needed reinforcement in the painted area from Sesay, who stands 6-foot-9 and who is from Sierra Leone in West Africa.
Tallo and Sesay had teamed up during the Chooks-to-Go FIBA 3×3 World Tour Manila Masters last May.

Besides Sesay, Manila Chooks had added size in 6-foot-5 tall Hammons from Indianapolis, who played small forward in the NCAA under Texas A&M and Louvre Surabaya in the ASEAN ASEAN Basketball League.
Meanwhile, Lecher, also a forward from Ohio stands at 6-foot-8. Lecher, a former Montverde Academy graduate, played for the CD Puente Alto in Chile’s pro league.
Besides Manila Chooks, another Philippine squad will be seen in action against 14 of the world’s best 3×3 teams. They are the Lubao MCFASolver comprised of Terence Tumalip and former Cebu Chooks bigman Mike Henry along with Spanish Jose Blázquez and Croatian Stanko Kujundžić.
