2 Cebuanos land in top 10

Two Cebuanos made it to the top 10 of the March 2015 Mechanical Engineering licensure examination.

Chernan Lepon Madugay of University of Cebu (UC) ranked third while Michael Ray Sumalinog Wenceslao of the University of San Carlos landed in fourth place, according to last night’s results posted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

The first two placers from the Batangas State University-Batangas City are Joerge Ryan Bermudez Maramot with a rating of 90.55 percent and Kent Joseph Garcia Carurucan ranking  second with a 90.20 percent rating.

A total of 739 out of 1,247 examinees passed the board exam conducted this month in Manila and Cebu, the PRC said yesterday.

Out of the 28 examinees, 19 passed the Certified Plant Mechanical Licensure Examination given in Manila and Cebu this month

The PRC said Batangas State University and Mapua Institute of Technology-Manila  are the top performing schools in the recent Mechanical Engineering licensure examination.

Batangas State University achieved a 100 percent passing rate, while  Mapua Institute of Technology had 46 passers out of 55 exam takers.
