The Provincial Legal Office (PLO) lacks lawyers to handle cases of the Cebu Provincial Government.

To address the problem, PLO head Orvi Ortega said they will ask the Provincial Board to create two positions for lawyers under his office and allocate a budget for it.

He said the PLO only has six lawyers including him.

In 2014, the PLO recorded 220 court hearings attended and 237 pleadings filed.
