Southwestern University PHINMA has reaffirmed its position as the best optometry school in the country by producing 32 newly licensed optometrists and 5 topnotchers in the October 2023 Optometrists Licensure Examination.

The university welcomed back these newly-licensed doctors of Optometry in a memorable ceremony on December 12, 2023 at the SWU PHINMA Campus, right after their official oath taking. This year’s topnotchers including Dr. Cathy Tres Octaviano (Top 2), Dr. Mary Anne Gizzelle Guani (Top 3), Dr. Kevin Cliff Anguluan (Top 4), Dr. Divine Marie Rodaje (Top 7), and Dr. Benito Flores IV (Top 9), also received the highest honor of being inducted in the SWU PHINMA College of Optometry Wall of Distinction.
