Two inmates, two jailguards injured in vehicle mishap in Sibonga

Two inmates, two inmates were injured when the service vehicle of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) lost its brake and fell on its side in Sibonga town.

Around 15 inmates were scheduled to attend their court hearing in Argao Regional Trial Court when the vehicle lost its brakes while trying to avoid a pedicab in barangay Bahay.

The radio report also said two jailguards were also injured in the accident.

SPO1 Dario Gabac, Sibonga police investigator said the victims were brought to the nearby hospital. The rest of the inmates were able to attend their hearing.
