Himensulan barangay chairman Rene Maranga said the remains of 45-year-old Heo Seung Yung was discovered by Reynante Reyes, caretaker of the M. Llhullier resort.

His fellow divers- Kim Eun, 31 and diving instructor Baek Seung Kyoon, 34,- were found alive in the same area last Tuesday afternoon.

Maranga said Heo may have died last night and had they found him earlier in the afternoon with his fellow divers, he could have been alive.

Maranga said he actually told his tanods to look for the third missing Korean last Tuesday afternoon. But they failed to locate Heo and they could not send boats to the sea due to rough seas.

Heo’s belongings including his suit and dive watch remained intact. He noticed blood that spilled out of his left eye and ear.  Maranga said they called the police to recover and bring the remains to a funeral home
