Starting Friday, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Mandaue City will hold off-site biometrics data capturing at the Pacific Mall in barangay Ibabao-Estancia.

The mall offered Comelec a place as the venue for  validating the registration of voters through biometrics data capture.

Election Officer Anna Fleur Gujilde thanked the mall management and expressed hopes for a high turnout.

A Voters’ Registration Machine (VRM) and a Voters’ Registration System (VRS) will be brought to the mall every Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Last Saturday, Comelec Mandaue staff conducted an off-site biometrics data capture at the barangay Hall of barangay Ibabao-Estancia, Mandaue City.

More off-site biometrics registration also will be in barangays Looc, Tawason, Canduman, Cubacub and Bakilid.
