THE Gapo-Magdadaro clan of Lilo-an town in northern Cebu recently held its first family reunion at the Green Lagoon in Compostela.
In attendance were the children and grandchildren of couples Narcisa and Anastacio Gapo and Luisa and Leon Magdadaro.
The event was organized by Fr. Fiel “Buboy” Gapo Suico and Sister Estrella Gapo Suico, youngest son and eldest daughter of Buena Gapo and the late Remegio Suico.
The clan also invited their relatives — Pepito and Ponce family.
The grandchildren of Toribio and Florencia Gapo, Marissa Ponce Aarnimetsa, came all the way from Finland and Misamis in Mindanao just to attend the occasion.
Other attendees from Cebu are all children of Apolonia Pepito and Andres Gapo, the grandchildren of Toribio and Florencia.
The clan is planning to meet again this year to elect its first set of officers who will prepare for the bigger celebration next year.
The Gapo-Magdadaro clan is asking those who were not able to attend the reunion to get in touch with any of the people mentioned above so that they can help in the planning of the next reunion.
