THE PACQUIAO Powervit Pilipinas Aguilas stumbled in Malaysia and had their first defeat of the season after they got ambushed by the Westport KL Dragons, 82-107, in the ASEAN Basketball League on Saturday at the MABA Stadium in Malaysia.

Westport’s two reinforcements, Calvin Godfrey and Reginald Johnson, also made their mark with the former tallying 25 points, 14 rebounds and six assists while the latter had a double-double of his own with 20 markers and 11 boards.

The writing was on the wall early on as the Dragons raced off to a 31-16 after the first canto. The Aguilas tried to fight back and pulled to within five, 47-52, but the Dragons responded accordingly to raise their lead back to double-digits.
Arizona Reid led the Aguilas with 29 while Charles Mammie pitched in 12 points and 15 rebounds.
