THE Mandaue City Council approved on first reading an annual budget of P2.699 billion.
The proposed budget is slightly lower than the current one of P2.7 billion.
It includes a General Fund that amounts to P2.402 billion.
The annual budget includes an allocation of P112.5 million for the City Public Market, P39.7 million for the city hospital, P14.2 million for the slaughterhouse, and P6.2 million for the City Sports and Cultural Complex.
The city also has an outlay of P124.5 million for development projects, which represents 20 percent of the City’s Internal Revenue Allotment.
