American caught with pistol inside airport

AIRPORT authorities apprehended an American for supposedly bringing a firearm at the Mactan Cebu International Airport last Sunday evening.

The 66-year-old tugboat captain identified as Timothy Lee Lindsey is a resident of California.

He was brought to the Lapu-Lapu City Prosecutor’s Office for inquest proceedings.

Lindsey was charged with violating Republic Act 10591 or the Firearms and Ammunitio Law.

He is detained at the Lapu-Lapu City police precinct cell.

Security personnel found one .45 pistol with one magazine and two live bullets in a plastic tool box carried by Lindsey.
