Maximo of YKKBikes.com and the Sacred Heart School-Hijas de Cebu, a four-time medallist in the previous Batang Pinoy competition, will be pitted against some of the region’s best racers in a 16-kilometer (km) Individual Time Trial (ITT), the 86km Road Race and a 40km Criterium around Panglao Island.

Maximo will be joined by a host of other Cebuanos such as Cebu Cycling’s Amon Espinosa, Jonel Carcueva, Dr. Jonathan Simbajon, Dr. John Gayatin, Raymund Lim and Keith DeFebrie.

The Individual Time Trial will be a pancake flat course while the Road Race will span from Loay to Jagna and back again.
