Gothong Southern Shipping Lines, Inc has been awarded as Cebu’s most efficient in terms of productivity per hour covering the period June 1 to July 31, in an awarding ceremony held at Port Management Office of the Cebu Port Authority in Cebu City last August 8.
Cebu Port Authority recently invited a total of eight (8) local shipping lines and was required to submit their Post Vessel Operations Evaluation Report (RVOER) and Vessel Operations Commitment (VOC) which have become the bases in judging their respective performance in cargo handling service.
Consolidated report on the Productivity Performance Rate of Cargo Handling Service Provider (CHSPs) under PMO-2 was cascaded to the eight (8) participating liner in a formal ceremony organized by the same agency.
Report showed that Gothong Southern Shipping Lines, Inc. topped all 7 local shipping lines and produced an average gross productivity of 17.25 Container per hour with only 16 hours actual port stay of vessel compare to other shipping lines that produced only 9 Containers per hour at 21.89 hours stay of vessel at port.
