A 35-YEAR-OLD farmer was found dead below a cliff in barangay Cawrasan, Carmen town, northern Cebu.
Police said the farmer’s relatives suspected the death to be a case of suicide.
Roque Berog suffered head injuries and broken bones,
SPO1 Gamelo Laurente said Berog and his three-year-old son left home to gather firewood last Monday morning.
While in the forest, another farmer saw the boy crying. The boy then brought the farmer to the site area where the body was found.
Some relatives told police Berog was dealing with financial problems.
The farmer needed money for the registration of his newly born baby.
