A man suspected to be involved in the illegal drug trade and his alleged cohort were arrested in a buy-bust operation in barangay Barrio Luz, Cebu City last Friday afternoon.
Mark Sabas, 33, and Reymar Abellana were arrested by operatives of the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force past 5 p.m. Friday.
Police said nine packs of suspected shabu were seized from Sabas’ possession.
Abellana yielded a pack believed to contain shabu, police said.
The target of the operation was Sabas’ sister whom police have been monitoring due to reporters of her involvement in selling illegal drugs.
Police ended up arresting Mark since he was the one who handed a pack of shabu to a poseur-buyer.
