MORE illegal firecrackers were confiscated in Lapu-Lapu City last Dec. 31.
The firecrackers worth P40,000 were seized in barangays Babag and Kalawisan where previous confiscations were made days before the Christmas and New Year revelry, said Chief Insp. Mark Gifter Sucalit.
Police seized oversized firecrackers like Super Whistle Bomb, Dalogdog, Yolanda, Coil, Piccolo and Goodbye Philippines whose gunpowder content exceeds safety standards.
