THE UNIVERSITY of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Jaguars claimed another victory after they defeated the University of Southern Philippines-Foundation (USP-F) Panthers, 83-69, in the 1st Raul Cabanero Inter-Collegiate Basketball League on Wednesday night at the Bulacao Sports Complex in Talisay City.

USJ-R’s Mythical Five forward RJ Dinolan proved to be an unstoppable force as he scored a game-high 21 points even as Tricky Peromingan added 16 markers. Edmundo Bayhonan was also a solid presence down low as he tallied 14 points.

USPF, on the other hand, mustered 13 from Clyde Avancena and 10 each from Winston Bolivar and Lyndon Colina.

In the Inter-Sitio division, Sitio Hawod turned back South Central, 60-53.

The games in this tournament are being made possible by the efforts of Councilors Banjo Abastillas, Darwin Cabanero and Agnes Lastimosa. The league is being supported by the Bulacao Barangay Council.
