Talisay City bares swim team lineup for CVIRAA meet
THE OFFICIAL lineup of the vaunted Talisay City swimming team for the upcoming Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association (CVIRAA) meet scheduled on Feb. 7 to 13 in Naga City, South Cebu was finally bared.
Leading the list for coach Rolando Remolino’s team are Milo Little Olympics National Finals’ “Most Outstanding Athlete (MOA)” Raven Faith Alcoseba and bemedalled tanker Psalm Daniel Aquino.
The 13-year-old Alcoseba of Talisay City Science National High School had a sterling performance in last year’s Palarong Pambansa in Tagum City, Davao del Norte where she set two new records.
Making up the rest of the team are Kim Remolino, Alfred Lathrel Pacabis, Mac Julian Bandoy, Nikko Hermosa, Rae Merced, Jesu Emmanuel Hermosa, Renz Wynn Corbin, Nikkalyn Gonzales, Langeline Hermoso, Monica Hermosa, Babymae Arong, Charine Garcia, Ellanna Schuer and Karen Andrea Manayon.
“We’ve managed to win a medal in all of our events last year and we are looking forward to have another great performance this year,” said Remolino.
