TENNIS zealots are set for another delight as the country’s finest netters slug it out in the Palawan Pawnshop – Palawan Express Pera Padala (PPS-PEPP) regional tennis circuit today at the Consolacion Tennis Club in Laray, Consolacion, northern Cebu.
The tournament, which is the fifth leg of the 52-stage nationwide circuit, will feature rising tennis sensations from Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga, La Carlota, Negros Occidental and Cebu.
A few names on the long list include CDO’s Gennifer Pagente, Zamboanga’s Sydney Enriquez, Tracy Llamas of La Carlota and Cebu netters Kristin Salimbangon, Shyne Villareal, Tiffany Nocos and Norman Enriquez.
“While we expect the favorites to shine, we also see a number of young and new players to emerge given the depth of the competing field,” said Palawan Pawnshop president and CEO Bobby Castro.
