NAGT event in Danao set on March 20
AFTER the success of the National Duathlon Championships (NDC) in Cebu last year, the Triathlon Association of the Philippines (TRAP) is making a return trip, this time to Danao City northern Cebu for the National Age Group Triathlon (NAGT) competition on March 20.
The event aims to discover a new generation of talent, with the Sprint Male Age Groups, Sprint Female Age Groups and the Team Relay competitions. The starting line will be at the Danao City Boardwalk.
The top three finishers in the Overall Sprint Men and Women shall receive P5000, P3000 and P2000, respectively.
The first three finishers in the Sprint Age Group Categories, Mini-Sprint and Team Relay will take home medals and certificates.
Registration fee for all categories is pegged at P1,200 and closes on March 16. Those who register after that will have to pay P2,000. Before heading to the registration sites, participants are required to download the registration forms available at the TRAP website.
Registration sites are at the Rudy Project in SM Cebu; The Brick Shop; Runnr Ayala Center Cebu; Dan’s Bike Shop in WEE Building, Gorordo Avenue; and Bikecology in Banilad Town Center.
