Three suspected members of a robbery group are facing trial in relation to the jewelry store robbery in downtown Cebu City last year.

The Cebu City Police Office found sufficient basis to indict Michael Florida, Richard Taguman and Ruel Remedios on charges of robbery.

They were accused of taking a .38 caliber revolver with five ammunition worth P35,000 from a security guard of Evergreen Security Services  Corporation.

Bail was recommended at P200,000 each.

The three accused were earlier charged with another case for allegedly stealing P5.5 million worth of jewelry from My Gold Jewelry Store on April 25, 2015.

Their companion, Mario Remetre, was earlier charged separately.

Cebu City Assistant Prosecutor Noel Cellona found evidence to charge the accused who failed to file a counter-affidavit and refute the allegations.
