Mandaue arrests

Several packs of suspected shabu and a firearm were confiscated and three men were arrested in separate police operations in Mandaue City yesterday.

According to an Opao police station report, at past midnight yesterday, police arrested Belton Cabahug, 39, of Barangay Paknaan and Michael Landiza, 38, of Barangay Umapad, after they were caught with two packs of suspected shabu at a checkpoint in Barangay Umapad.

In a separate operation at 12:30 p.m. in Barangay Guizo, according to a Centro police station report, police arrested Anton Tampos in Barangay Cambaro.

He was caught with a .38 caliber revolver and a small sachet believed to be shabu.
