Reelectionist Sen. Tito Sotto and United Nationalist Alliance vice presidential candidate Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan underwent a drug test at the Police Regional Office (PRO-7) as part of their campaign sortie in Cebu City yesterday morning.
The two officials were accompanied by basketball player Mark Pingris and variety show host Vic Sotto.
“This is not a challenge to all other candidates but to set as an example,” said Sotto, when asked why he underwent a drug test.
He said they chose PRO-7 since Cebu is the home of his grandparents and Central Visayas has been on the limelight due to illegal drug operations.
