POLICE are verifying reports that at least one person died and another injured in an ambush in an upland village of Mag-antoy, Tuburan town, Cebu at past noon Wednesday.
Senior Insp. Leo Logronio, who just assumed as Tuburan municipal police chief last Tuesday, told Cebu Daily News that the victims were supporters of Mayor Aljun Diamante.
